H&P Expo 2018: Talking to Urban Expositions

Vice president of show organiser Urban Expositions Mike Carlucci and marketing director Liz Irving look back on a successful show as the 2018 event draws to a close.

“The show is going great,” Mike told PartyWorldwide.net during the final few hours of the show. “Feedback is great and buyers traffic on the floor has really picked up. There have been a lot more appointments… and that’s really translating to sales generated on the show floor.”

Liz was equally upbeat, enthusing about the co-location of HAuNTcon which took place during H&P Expo this year for the first time. “The traffic has been very strong,” she says, ” with a lot of crossover buying.”

Feedback from both buyers and suppliers has also been positive, “Feedback is great. For this industry as a whole, it’s been a tough year, but we’re starting to see some of those dollars being invested back into the industry,” Mike concludes. “As far as the traffic goes, buying is up, and that’s a good thing. ”
