Children’s charity Barnardo’s is once again holding a nationwide sponsored walk for little people – and this year’s Big Toddle is embracing fancy dress.
The Big Toddle 2018 theme is ‘Nature’, giving participants lots of opportunities for inventive and creative dressing up as animals, insects, flowers or even jungle creatures.
The sponsored event calls on nurseries, schools and families to take part in this year’s Big Toddle week, which is held from June 18-24. Thousands of Big Toddle events took place across the UK in 2017 and this year’s event is expected to be even more popular.
Barnardo’s director for the east, Steve Oversby, said: “This year’s nature theme means you can be really imaginative with fancy dress ideas and Barnardo’s has some great resources to help everyone taking part.”
The Barnardo’s website has a number of fancy dress suggestions for preschoolers who want to dressing up for the Big Toddle.
